Preface
The production has prefaced a report on internship program at Shibaura Institute of Technology on 23st May 2017 ? 26th July 2016, summer semester. The content covered the topic internship program at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan. And guide line about preparation, weekly practical training record, living in university and activities as internship student. The production would like to thank our project advisor at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan. Prof. Yoshitaka Adachi and our – advisors at School of Information Technology, King Mongkut?s University of Technology Thonburi. Without their strong support, sincere helpfulness and encouragement, we will not succeed in this internship program.

BACKGROUND

Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) built its Omiya Campus on spacious green land, and it is the first Japanese university campus certified under ISO14001. The nickname, Green Campus, is a registered tradename of SIT

Freshmen and sophomore students of the College of Engineering and all students of the College of Systems Engineering and Science as well as Graduate School students study on this campus. This campus is also home to most after-school club activities.

The SIT Global Dormitory was completed adjacent to the campus premises in 2013. Campus Building No. 5 offers a conversation space, ?I?Ko?Ba,? where students are free to come in and enjoy conversing with others

PREPARATION FOR SHIBAURA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Japan Visa Information
For apply Japan Visa, there is Japan visa application centre (JVAC) in Thailand called Embassy of Japan in Thailand. Applicants could enter from th.emb-japan.go.jp website for information and visa application. This internship program covers the period from 21th May, 2017 to 30th July, 2017. Follow the Japan Government compliances, the visa type should be visitor visa for three-month stay. However, because we got the Letter of attendance from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan embassy considered student visa for us. The application’s consideration depends on the discretion of the consular officer. The duration of the operation at least 5 business days (except Saturday – Sunday. And holidays of the Embassy).

Note Every need to show in English only. Any document in Thai must be translated to be English

4. Submission The student submits the application and prepared the document to Japan embassy office. And the student gets the visa appointment from Japan Embassy. The Japan Embassy may make an appointment with visa applicant for additional information or request more documents.

THEME: Design and Development of a Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle(ROV)
TOPIC: Development of a ROV simulator by using Unity
OBJECTIVES
? Indicate a ROV on PC display by Computer Graphics.
? An operator controls it by using a gamepad.
METHODOLOGY
1. Unity game engine is used for system construction.
2. ROV basic shape data used in the simulator is generated by MAYA2016 system.
3. 3D Computer graphics is constructed by using Unity.
4. Gamepad control is implemented by using Unity.

PROBLEMS/OBSTACLES
1. Japanese Language
Most of Japanese also use their own language. Most of them use a little bit English.
2. Space
Japan is a small country and lots of people. So they will allocate the space with the highest benefit.

BENEFITS OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT SHIBAURA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Shibaura Institute of Technology located at Higashi-Omiya, in Saitama, Japan. Almost people use an electric train to go everywhere. Plus, there are public transports provide in the city. We recommend exchange student to use.
Internship student program at Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) brings us great opportunities to practice our language, study new knowledge from a quality university as well as learn Japanese culture. We got friends from their country. Moreover, not only work in the laboratory, Our professor has the chance to bring us to travel 3 places in Japan such as Mt.Fuji, Kamakura and Sea. In addition, my friend brings me to travel one-day trip in Karuizawa. To visit many cities that contain culture make us understand the wider world and open mind in every spot of Japan they have to develop the quantities of life. We learn to survive in a foreign country. And, at the same time, we learn to help each other. Thus, this Internship student program at Shibaura Institute of Technology is the best experience and adventure I met. When I came back I will tell the story and exchange my mind that I have seen in Japan with my friends and apply the project that I had learned in an internship program to my 4th-year term project or develop in the department to get lots of benefits.
